Unfortunately, the quality of the local infrastructure, especially the traffic infrastructure is not at a satisfactory level in the municipality of Vevcani. It is necessary to build and reconstruct a large number of local roads in the municipality in order to develop a modern and up-to-date road infrastructure that will fully meet the current and future needs of the local population, but also a large number of tourists and visitors in increasing numbers. visited by Vevcani. In the past years, the municipality of Vevcani was strongly focused on the construction of new local roads in accordance with the needs of the local population. Thanks to financial support by a number of domestic and international donors, significant funds have been invested in the construction of local roads in the municipality of Vevcani. However, as time goes on, a growing number of local streets that were built in the past are continuously depreciated and damaged and pose a problem in the daily functioning of the settlement. Serious investments are needed in the reconstruction and modernization of the local road infrastructure. The Municipality of Vevcani as the smallest unit of local self-government with a limited budget that is not enough to cover the basic costs of its current operations, faced with this serious problem that requires huge investments, is forced to solve the problem of reconstruction and renewal of local road infrastructure by preparing project proposals and securing funding from the central government or other domestic and international financial institutions. For that purpose, this project proposal is being prepared which aims at reconstruction and modernization of the local street Daskaloj 1 in a total length of 269.78 meters in the settlement of Vevcani.
