The project will generally address potential and existing women entrepreneurs and provide the necessary support to strengthen their business skills and provide additional technical support and assistance in order to grow and expand micro and small businesses owned and run by women in between. border region between Polog and Elbasan. Will will start with personal interviews with women and will map out their needs and skills that need to be improved, areas for improvement, etc. It will then prepare appropriate plans in order to build facilities organized around three blocks: · Building the skills and competencies of potential entrepreneurs to start their own business. · Improving the production and revenues for the existing micro-enterprise and organizing all the work related to the production of new products, improving sales and trading skills, networking and B2B meetings, etc. An online platform will also be created and also BTB regional meetings and business fairs will serve to open new market opportunities and find business partners in the cross-border area and the wider Balkan region. · Micro-enterprise development policy review - starting with a 6-12 month feasibility study and continuing with consultative meetings with national and local authorities, drafting recommendations and preparing brief policy reports. In addition, media coverage and the production of videos and journalistic stories will be used to raise awareness of issues of interest and possible and sustainable solutions to the identified problems.
