SE-Bridge is a two-year project that started on November 15, 2017. The project will dedicate its efforts to strengthening social enterprises (SE) and social entrepreneurship in these regions by supporting the establishment of new start-ups in the CoE, building their capacity as well as the capacity of existing SEs, enabling business cooperation with the traditional business sector. (TBS), as well as facilitating CE access to new markets and funding opportunities. In order to achieve these goals, SE-Bridge will focus on helping all regions involved to recognize the role of SE, to understand their importance in the overall economy and society, thus supporting their growth and creating the conditions for setting more SE. In addition, the project will work on capacity building of existing ones, especially by encouraging cooperation with the traditional business sector. The project will work to help existing SEs strengthen and grow by connecting with TBS companies, while also working with TBS companies to raise their knowledge and understanding of the CoE sector by raising awareness and sharing good examples of co-operation between CoEs. and TBS within its events and PR activities, SE-Bridge will work on increased interest in this sector, increase the number of SEs in the cross-border region and intensify their general business activity and cooperation with TBS. Special focus will be placed on integrating vulnerable groups into the labor market.
