Cultural heritage and history are a hallmark of any society that is a powerful product for presenting cultural values. The Municipality of Krushevo has a wide and deeply engraved history that recognizes the history of the Republic of Macedonia. Krushevo is known for its historical past and cultural treasure which preserves history and events as an eternal memory. Since 1903, Krushevo as a city has an abundance of monuments and other cultural and historical objects, such as the Ilinden monument unveiled on August 2, 1974, which is a symbol of disobedience, struggle and eternal aspiration of the Macedonian people for national freedom. Worth mentioning is the memorial house dedicated to the ambassador of Macedonian music - Todor Proeski. The great cultural and historical significance that extends on the territory of the municipality of Krushevo related to the national history and culture of Macedonia has been declared a monument of special importance in accordance with the Law (Official Gazette of RM, no. 95 from 26.07.2012). The programming of the city of Krushevo for a monumental unit envisages permanent preservation of the authenticity, rarity, uniqueness and diversity of the monumental whole, as well as creating favorable conditions for survival and maintaining the integrity of all the data it carries as a testimony. The Law also provides for the prevention of all actions, phenomena and influences that cause or may cause its damage or degradation. One of the goals of the project is to increase the protection of the national, cultural heritage and tourist potentials in the protected monument - Krushevo, by purchasing a fire protection vehicle for the fire brigade Krushevo. TPPE Krushevo was established in the second half of 1985 and its competencies in terms of protection and security of cultural heritage, citizens and the environment refer to the municipality of Krushevo, as well as the needs of the municipalities of Dolneni and Prilep that gravitate to its vicinity. TPPE Krushevo is under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Krushevo and currently has 9 employees. The main problem faced by the municipality of Krushevo, TPPE Krushevo and the surrounding municipalities is the obsolescence of firefighting vehicles of TPPE Krushevo dating back to 1985. As a consequence of the existing problem, the operation of vehicles is difficult and poses an additional challenge in their work in dealing with fires that contribute to endangering the national cultural heritage, environment, tourist potential, life and health of citizens and tourists.
