The main goal of the project is for the enterprise to achieve technological growth and development in a time of postpandemic and economic crisis. With the introduction of new digital technology and the placement of a new product on the market, the possibilities for overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis are increasing and, at the same time, opportunities for greater competitiveness in foreign markets are opening up. Namely, we are considering about an investment in the purchase of a line of box-making machines, a product that is instantly in demand both on the domestic and foreign markets, and the company does not produce it within its range of products. The paper and cellulose industry, as well as the graphic industry and publishing activity in the Republic of North Macedonia have reached a high level of development, which is reflected in the possibility of quality production of all types of paper and graphic products. In recent times, bigger development has been observed in the production of packaging. This industry in the Republic of North Macedonia is showing a growth trend and it can produce almost all types of graphic products and paper products. A large number of companies are increasingly oriented towards the production of packaging, thus emphasizing the connection of this industry with almost all processing industries. The production is mostly aimed at the needs of the domestic market. In the paper, cellulose and paper products industry, the export for 11 (eleven) months of 2019 was 17.1 thousand tons, i.e. 14.4 thousand USD, and the import for the first eleven months of 2019 was 80.9 thousand tons, that is, 99.97 thousand USD, which indicates the fact that Macedonia is still import dependent.
