At the moment, in the populated areas of the Municipality of Novo Selo, there are many dirt streets that, due to their current condition, make it difficult for the population to move and connect with the rest of the municipality. Such is the case with the settlement of Novo Konjarevo, where the current situation is quite unfavorable. The dirt streets, which are the subject of this proposed project and are in need of reconstruction, turn into muddy terrain during heavy rain or snow, which further complicates the movement and connection of the population. This leads to constant erosion and a constant need to fill the remaining holes with even more soil. During the hot periods of the year, the dirt streets are quite dry and when the motor vehicles move or when the wind occurs, conditions are created for lifting and blowing large drifts of dust, which pollutes the air of the families who live directly on these streets. According to the Decision on the determination of areas with specific development needs in the Republic of North Macedonia in the period 2020 - 2024 ("Official Gazette of RSM" no. 263/19), the settlement of Novo Konjarevo, Municipality of Novo Selo is defined as "border" and as "rural area" and belongs to List no. 1 of the Decision.
