Economic development both in local and regional frameworks is directly dependent on the development of road infrastructure. The quality of the road network is particularly important for the smooth and normal development of citizens' daily lives, but also for the development of their businesses. In this direction, the reconstruction of "Marko Cepenkov" street is one of the priority projects of the municipality of Ohrid, taking into account that it is located in close proximity to the central city area and is one of the main arteries in the city traffic that connects the center of Ohrid with the General Hospital in Ohrid and with the settlements around it. Also, this street is a kind of bypass of the more frequent streets and it leads to the sports fields of Ohrid and the tourist destinations around Ohrid, as well as to the villages of Velgoštii Ramne.
