COORDINATION SYSTEM IN PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION, MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF POLICY FOR BALANCED REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Improving social inclusion in the region of Pellagonia through the construction of sports and recreational infrastructure in rural areas

PROJECT DETAILS

The Pelagonian region is below the national average for the degree of development of the infrastructure that enables social inclusion through sports and recreation for vulnerable categories such as young people, children from marginalized social categories and people with special needs. Regional cooperation, which includes activities for social inclusion, mutual acquaintance and friendship, and for which modern infrastructure such as sports fields and playgrounds is necessary, is at a minimal level and is in constant decline. The main reason for this is the lack of socially inclusive infrastructure, especially in small and rural areas where minorities live in the region, that is, vulnerable categories such as rural children and youth as well as people with special needs. Within the framework of the project, two playgrounds for sports and recreation will be built in the rural areas of the Municipality of Novaci and Municipality of Dolneni, which will be used as infrastructure for increasing social inclusion in the region.
