PROJECT DETAILS

Construction of a local road in the village of German, Municipality of Rankovce L = 886.74 m is a priority project proposal for the municipality and mountain village of German which extends to n.v. from 1160-1300 m of broken neighborhood type. The current condition is an existing local dirt road which due to the relief character of the terrain is exposed to very frequent damage from torrential rains and snow. The village in the period from November to April very often due to snow drifts in several sections of a regional road is cut off from civilization and risky for access and existence, which is why it is necessary to build this local road for continuous access to the village, because the terrain has a different relief structure and will provide continuous access throughout the year. The realization of the project has a direct and vital impact on all residents (from all target groups) of the village German (311 inhabitants with permanent residence - after the census of 2002), 16 students from I - IX who study in POU in the village and 10 teachers and support staff as well as high school students who attend classes in the neighboring urban municipalities. Large number of indirect users who have weekend houses in this mountainous border area and forest collectors about 30% of the local population of the municipality of Rankovce and a large number of visitors and passers-by (mountain recreational tourism) The result of the implementation is a better quality of life, safer and continuous access to the village, by reducing the disparity between urban and rural areas, development of modern infrastructure and economic growth in rural areas
