PROJECT DETAILS

Overall objective (i.e. impacts): to improve the quality of visitor experiences through improved image and visibility of tourist offers and destinations in the city of Leskovac, Jablanica District, Serbia and Kriva Palanka Municipality, North-Eastern Region, North Macedonia (hereinafter : targeted area). Specific objective (ie outcome 1): to strengthen the common tourist image of the target area through the implementation of the cross-border public-private partnership model through the development of joint creative tourist offers based on common natural, cultural and historical heritage. 1. Public actors in tourism (5): 2 local self-government units and their administrations; 3 Institutions or public enterprises in the field of tourism and culture (tourist organization, cultural centers, museums or theaters); 2. Private tourism actors (20): 10 SMEs (hotels, restaurants...) and tour operators or travel agencies; 10 local food and craft producers. 3. Other stakeholders in tourism (2): CSOs and regional development agencies (RDAs) active in the field of tourism or nature/ecology, culture or gastronomy. 4. Visitors/tourists (all age groups): 1200 (men 60% and women 40%). Activity 1.1. Initial meeting of partners (linked to Option 1.) Activity 1.2. Organization of joint outdoor exhibition "Land of Legends" in the city of Leskovac (related to op. 2.). Activity 2.5. Organization of a regional cross-border conference on tourism in Kriva Palanka (related to Op. 2.).
