PROJECT DETAILS

The village of Cheshinovo is one of the largest settlements in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo. It is located directly about 1 km from the A3 Highway (on the left side) which connects the Republic of Macedonia with the Republic of Bulgaria. An accessible asphalt road leads to the village. On the left side of the asphalt road there is an industrial zone with several industrial facilities built (rice factories, mills, etc.). Most of the inhabitants of this municipality and beyond the region found their employment in these industrial facilities. The Football Playground is located at the very entrance of the village and a multi-purpose playground is under construction. In 2004, with street funding from USAID, street lighting was built on this move. The problem here is that there is no pedestrian path (sidewalks) for safe movement of pedestrians on this road. Considering that there are more industrial facilities here and the frequency of movement of vehicles and pedestrians has increased, so there was a need to build a single path. The area (sidewalks) is currently overgrown with grass and low-growing shrubs and it is impossible to move along the road. This road is an entrance for more settlements (Sokolarci, Zhiganci, Novoselani, Lepopelci, Vrbica, Spancevo), not only the settlement of Cheshinovo.
