The village of Gradec is located in the central part of the territory of the municipality of Kriva Palanka, ie on the right side along the course of Kriva Reka. From the town of Kriva Palanka not far in the west direction, the village Gradec, ie the settlement Mizovski Livadi is located at a distance of about 5 km. In the village at a distance of about 7 km is the church of St. Nikola from the 19th century, a school that has been converted into accommodation capacity, the hermitage rock in which the hermit St. Joachim Osogovski lived before settling in the locality Babin Dol, where today is his monastery and the archeological site Gradiste. The village of Gradec, ie the settlement of Mizovski Livadi has a well-established electricity network, the water supply is made from individual wells, while the basic communal infrastructure is missing, ie they do not have adequate systems for receiving and draining wastewater. A part of the settlement (about twenty buildings) that gravitate near the highway A2 have constructed a sewage network for wastewater, while in most of the settlement the drainage is done in individual septic tanks that are illegally constructed and are a potential source for pollution of soil, groundwater and waters of Kriva Reka. The population in this part is mainly engaged in land cultivation and fruit growing. The lack of communal infrastructure is one of the main reasons for insufficient rural development and attracting investors for this settlement in the village of Gradec. With the realization of the project Construction of a sewerage network for wastewater branch K2 for this part of the village. Gradec will contribute to improving the quality of life by creating sanitary-health living conditions by preventing the release of hazardous harmful substances and substances, pollution and other degradation of the environment and all this leads to overcoming the development difficulties of this settlement in the village of Gradec
