The project aims to encourage sustainable tourism development and promotion of a rare tourist attraction in the target region on the one hand and emphasize the promotion of cultural heritage on the other. The rehabilitation of the intervention facilities, the provision of digitization equipment and the implementation of cultural heritage promotion activities will increase the tourism potential of the cross-border region and will contribute to strengthening the awareness of the stakeholders of culture and tourism in the region about the possibilities of using the cultural heritage in tourist destinations. In addition, with the use of modern ICT, tourist attractions in the region will become known to countless Internet and social media users. The project will unite people in the social and economic sphere (culture and tourism) which will lead to improved cooperation in the cross-border region in order to solve common challenges for the development of tourism and use the tourist potential of the rich cultural tangible and intangible heritage. The presentation of the virtual presentation of cultural heritage that is not very accessible and popular and will contribute to creating a stable basis for harmonious, balanced and sustainable development of the cross-border region. The partners will act with joint opportunities and efforts in the direction of activating cultural heritage and improving cultural tourism, which will lead to cultural, historical, social and economic exchanges in the region.
