The project focuses on the development of studies on the most vulnerable areas with a predisposition to fires in the regions of Dupnitsa and Karbintsi and their mapping in a cartographic document that will help local and regional agents / organizations / institutions. The project focuses on building appropriate response measures through the development of a supported joint mechanism for disaster management and risk prevention, promoting climate change awareness, training participants and risk prevention campaigns (including vulnerable groups). The project is aimed at studying the preparedness of local citizens for natural and man-made disasters, a joint seminar on the exchange of good practice between volunteer teams from Dupnitsa and Karbintsi, basic courses on fire protection and training for children and vulnerable groups in Dupnitsa and Karbintsi, increased awareness of the dangers of fire in different environments - at home, at school or at work, encouraging sustainable behavior in the event of an emergency, including the selection and use of fire extinguishers or other appropriate means.
