Gradsko covers an area of ​​290 km ², on which there are several settlements. The population of this municipality, characteristic by ethnic structure, consists mainly of Macedonians, and there are also Bosniaks, Albanians, Roma, Turks, Serbs, who mostly exist from agriculture. According to the new division of the Republic and the local self-government, the municipality of Gradsko starts with a serious revitalization of this region, in order to stop the migration processes and to completely improve the living and subsistence conditions. According to the 2002 census, the Municipality of Gradsko has 3760 inhabitants, of which: Macedonians 2924 (77.77%), Albanians 125 (3.32%), Turks 71 (1.89%), Roma 127 (3.38%) , Serbs 23 (0.61%), Bosniaks 465 (12.37%) and other 25 (0.66%). Ilindenska Street is a street that is the main road that passes through most of the settlement Gradsko and connects with the regional road Gradsko-Veles and the regional road Gradsko-Prilep. Hundreds of people from the region, tourists, well-wishers, passers-by, as well as the residents of Gradsko, transit through this road every day. It is important to note that the street is located in the central area 500 meters to the primary school in Gradsko, the municipal building, the police station, the kindergarten, as well as many other legal entities of catering scale and wholesale and retail. At the moment, the first phase of the street is being reconstructed in the length of 115.67 m, but there will be 262.38 m left. With the reconstruction of this street, it is planned to revitalize the road, which is extremely damaged, to build sidewalks on both sides of the street and atmospheric sewer.
