The settlement v. Koreshnica in the municipality of Demir Kapija is the largest settlement with a total population of 382 (census 2002) and one of the settlements where there is no eviction of residents, but there is a settlement of new residents from the nearby village of Celevec. The population has a mixed ethnic composition and Macedonians, Turks and Serbs live in the village of Koreshnica. Streets No. 1 and No. 2 in the village of Koreshnica are dirt streets, with a defined route, but with insufficient width of the road. These streets lead to the regional primary school in the village of Koreshnica, where 52 students from first to fifth grade study. The two also lead to the local road to the neighboring village of Celevec. Due to these reasons, as well as the fact that this is a settlement whose population is engaged in agriculture and uses agricultural machinery, the movement on these two streets is quite frequent. Due to the insufficient width of the road, the traffic on street no. 1 and street no. 2 in some places along their route is difficult and is not safe for both vehicles and pedestrians. The planned activities for asphalting of streets No. 1 and No. 2 will contribute not only to increasing traffic safety and pedestrian movement, but also to reducing the generation of dust from the movement of vehicles, and thus reducing pollution. of the environment.
