PCE "Communal Hygiene" was established by the Municipality of Makedonski Brod in 2015. The main competencies of the company are: solid waste management, maintenance of hygiene in public areas, local roads and streets as well as management of the city cemetery. Currently, PCE "Communal Hygiene" performs waste collection services in a very old open vehicle tractor TAFE-42 and a depreciated special vehicle for municipal waste collection - Mercedes 226 truck, but as far as the equipment and vehicles for public maintenance are concerned. cleanliness and protection of local roads and streets the situation is quite modest. This method of waste disposal is substandard and extremely unsafe due to the constant loss of waste on the way to the landfill and the condition of the maintenance of local roads and streets is worrying. Having in mind the poor condition of the mechanization and the fact that it can be used only for solid waste collection, PCE pays extremely high costs for its maintenance and at the same time the municipality engages external services for regular maintenance and winter cleaning of local roads / streets. and public places. Modern world, European and national standards require quality management of all types of waste, which would maximally contribute to the protection of the environment and protection of the population from infectious diseases. For that purpose, the municipality focused on finding opportunities to solve this problem and that is why we believe that these funds for this project proposal can be provided by this Program.
