The Municipality of Prilep is the largest municipality by territory in the country, where the City of Prilep itself as an urban seat of the municipality is one of the largest cities in the country. As an urban area, it is an administrative center in the northern part of the Pelagonija region where the smaller municipalities in the region gravitate, there is a large population movement and a large number of economic activities, so the load on public areas (streets, sidewalks and squares) is significant. and the frequency of movement itself creates dust, which has a negative impact on ambient air quality. This in itself imposes the need for regular maintenance of public traffic areas with machine and hand washing, which is implemented by the services of PCE Komunalec Prilep, in accordance with the annual program for maintenance of these areas throughout the year, with a total area of ​​30,405,396 .00 m2. Apart from the regular maintenance, there are occasional maintenance needs at the request of the local self-government bodies during the public holidays, holding events, as well as at the request of inspection services, etc. With the Covid-19 crisis, the need for additional maintenance and change of public traffic areas was imposed. For the regular and occasional maintenance of the public traffic areas, JKP Komunalec has 2 communal vehicles - tanks that are outdated and often have defects, so that the regular maintenance and loading of the mechanization is interrupted and accompanied by high maintenance costs. For the stated reasons, it is necessary to procure a new communal vehicle - water tank for washing the public areas, which will increase the efficiency and effectiveness in the work of the services and will contribute to increasing the level of public cleanliness of public areas in the city. In addition to the basic function of the tank, it is used in conditions of crisis and reduced water supply for water supply in the high zones of the city and wherever the need arises in case of failure of the water supply network or in case of natural disaster.
