According to the 2002 Census, in n.m. Presil had 444 inhabitants, of which 392 Albanians, 29 Turks and 23 Macedonians. According to the data from the religious community in this settlement the number of inhabitants has increased. The problem with the water supply of the rural settlements in the Pelagonija region was detected as a weak point in the preparation of the SWOT analysis within the Development Program of this region. The settlement of Preil in the municipality of Krushevo is no exception to this problem. Namely, the settlement Presil is facing the problem of lack of drinking water which is a consequence of an outdated and insufficiently sized existing drinking water tank. The needs for fire water in this settlement are not met at all. This settlement has a system for drinking water supply from the regional water supply system Studencica. This system is managed by the Public Utility Company from Krushevo, which is the only utility company in charge of water supply and wastewater in the city and settlements in the municipality. From the existing tank the water is distributed through the water supply network in the village. The existing tank has insufficient capacity to meet the needs of drinking water and fire water in this settlement. In order to overcome the mentioned problems, it is necessary to build a new drinking water tank for this settlement. The technical solution of the prepared basic project envisages construction of a new tank for drinking water of 100 m3 and its connection with the existing tank which has a capacity of 60 m3 with simultaneous operation of both tanks which will meet the needs of the settlement for drinking water and for fire water.
