The main problem faced by the citizens of the city of Demir Hisar is the unfinished fecal sewerage network. The reason why it was not completed was the planned accumulation "Buchin". By changing the water management base for the river basin of Crna Reka and lowering the elevation of the crown of the dam by 10 m, it is possible to build infrastructure facilities in the eastern part of the city. Currently, fecal water from the facilities is discharged on the ground or in improperly constructed septic tanks. The septic tanks are not empty and the fecal wastewater flows on the ground (profile no. 2 and no. 2.1). Also, due to an error in the construction of the sewerage network, during rain, the line is loaded and the basement is flooded in a collective residential building and the Health Center "Demir Hisar" (profile no. 1). Për sa më sipër, është e nevojshme të ndërtohen degë për rrjetin e kanalizimeve fekale që do të lidhen me një rrjet ekzistues të kanalizimeve. Përfundimi i degëve të rrjetit të kanalizimeve të qytetit do të parandalojë ndotjen e ujërave nëntokësore dhe tokës, përhapjen e sëmundjeve infektive, etj. Realizimi i projektit do të mundësojë përmirësimin e cilësisë së jetës së popullatës së qytetit të Demir Hisarit.
