Street 8 in the village. Studenichani is one of the longest streets in this settlement with a length of 723.21 m. More than 100 households live in this street, ie about 1000 inhabitants, but having in mind that the construction of a religious building on this street is currently nearing completion, the daily number that frequents this street will be even higher. The road is in a very bad condition, there are cracks, potholes and a lot of unevenness on the road in both longitudinal and transverse directions. The banks are damaged in places, in some places there is a deposit of erosive material. The width of the existing street ranges from 3.m to 5.m. No earthworks have been built, so that the road in question is gravitationally drained longitudinally and transversely to the existing watercourses. As a result of the poor conditions on street 8 in the settlement in the village. Studenichani especially in winter conditions (snow and rain) almost the inhabitants of this street (children to and from schools, old, young women and men) can not cross this road. The municipality of Studenicani is a rural municipality and it is not possible to finance this project with 100% own participation because there are not enough funds to finance also from the Road Fund as a municipality we receive very little funds to maintain existing and build new roads. Based on the strategic plan for local economic development of the Municipality of Studenicani, reconstruction of this street is envisaged by complete removal of the existing asphalt and installation of a new layer of asphalt. The implementation of this project will significantly improve the life of the citizens in this settlement and will have an impact on the quality of life in the settlement of Studenicani.
