The Municipality of Vevcani is the smallest unit of local self-government located in the Southwest planning region. Like other rural municipalities, the municipality faces a number of challenges on a daily basis, among which the biggest challenge is the construction of local communal infrastructure that will fully meet the needs of the local population. Although significant progress has been made in the construction of the local infrastructure, ie a water supply system has been built for the entire settlement, 95% of the sewerage networks in the settlement have been built, for the most part the local road infrastructure has been built, there are certain local infrastructural problems that are a problem in the daily functioning of the settlement. One of the weaknesses, and also a strategic goal of the municipality of Vevcani is the arrangement of the municipal land, ie ground floor and horticultural arrangement of the municipal land on which it is planned to build smaller squares throughout the municipality, as well as arranging the public space in the center of the municipality. In order to improve the condition and arrangement of the untidy and neglected municipal land, this project is being prepared, which aims to build a small SA square in the central core of the municipality of Vevcani. Due to the demolition of the previous dilapidated building, currently the location where the construction of the square is planned is ruined and presents a bad picture for the central part of the settlement. With the construction of the square, complete ground floor and horticultural arrangement of the space will be done, urban equipment and lighting will be installed, access ramps for people with physical disabilities will be built in order to solve the problem of access to public institutions located in the municipal building located at the location of the square, The greenery and public cleanliness in the central part of the settlement will increase, ie a modern and pleasant space for rest and relaxation will be created for the local population as well as for the large number of tourists who come to visit Vevcani as an attractive tourist destination in the Southwest. region
