Gradsko is historically known as an important traffic and trade crossroads, not only for RSM, but also for the wider Balkan region. It arises from its geographical location, which is mainly the plain part of the center of Macedonia, spread on both sides of the middle Povardarie. The Municipality of Gradsko with its central geographical position is a municipality in which all major transport and communication routes pass. But they are in a very bad condition. The road construction on the local roads is quite damaged and the quality of transport services is quite low. The settlements are in an even more catastrophic condition that limits their development. In a situation when road transport is the only type of transport in most of the municipality, the importance of road infrastructure for enabling sustainable development is increasing dramatically. Starogradska Street is located in the central area of ​​the settlement Dolno Gradsko. At the moment, the street is in a very bad condition, with a road construction from the ground and does not meet the needs for normal and safe traffic. The problem that needs to be overcome is: asphalting the street, making sidewalks and draining the storm water, because the road infrastructure is necessary for normal living and working and is one of the conditions for intensive sustainable development. Starogradska Street is located in the village of Dolno Gradsko, Municipality of Gradsko. The street has no sidewalks and sidewalks, so the residents go directly to the dirt road and in difficult conditions meet their daily needs. The situation is further aggravated by the fact that even in case of rain poses a danger of flooding in the yards of nearby houses. Starogradska Street is 220 meters long and is of great importance for the economic development of the inhabitants. Considering that the church of St. Gjorgija, is the only religious building where believers from all over Gradsko visit the Christian religion, and at the same time next to it is the cemetery of the residents of Gradsko, the construction of the street will contribute to the erection of this sacred building, visiting the eternal resting places of fellow believers. It is encouraging that investors from the local community, from the Republic of Northern Macedonia, but also from abroad invest their capital here, because food production is one of the safest investments. The refrigerator "Nikom" from Kavadarci is located in the settlement Dolno Gradsko which works with full steam where local farmers, but also those from the surrounding municipalities of Povardarie and Tikvesh have guaranteed placement of production, plan and direct production according to market needs, increase areas and will focus on quality that certainly brings more earnings. The frequent usability of the street by the farmers with their specialized vehicles is another proof that the construction of this street is of crucial importance to all residents of the municipality of Gradsko. The realization of this project will also have a positive impact in the area of ​​educational services and social services of the local population, facilitating their mobility and access to all educational, social and cultural centers to the municipality and neighboring municipalities.
