PCE "Vodovod" - Bitola has four Tyrolean attacks on the slopes of Baba Planina. They cover raw water for the needs of water supply of the municipalities of Bitola, Novaci and Mogila. The intakes are located at an altitude of about 1300 m above sea level, in inaccessible, mountainous terrain. They are led by dirt roads, drilled during the construction of the intakes during the 1970s, and they remain the only access to the intakes to this day. Apart from PCE "Vodovod" - Bitola, no one else is in charge of their maintenance. There are guard huts on the site, which can accommodate an employee for cleaning, maintenance and manipulation. Due to the mountainous terrain and the high altitude, during most of the year there is a snow cover, as well as conditions for creating landslides and avalanches, which cover the road, so for most of the year the interventions are difficult to access for vehicles and machines. . As a result, employees are forced to walk to work, which is not always possible. To solve the above problem, it is proposed to purchase a mini excavator, for cleaning and maintenance of access roads to the intakes, which would be constantly on the intakes, as well as a caterpillar engine, due to the mobility of employees to maintain the intakes.
