PROJECT DETAILS


The main goal of the project is to improve the image of the textile industry sector and to increase the competitiveness of local producers, which will create preconditions for sustainable development in the cross-border region. The project will influence local communities in terms of perception and improvement of the industrial image by raising awareness about the use of regional brands and products. The project will seek to build strong partnerships and develop high quality delivery chains, based on trust and mutual understanding. An additional benefit of the project will be the contribution to economic development by increasing the competitiveness of companies in international markets, which will add value to their products. Activities that will be realized during the implementation of the project are: creating a vision of the region; developing a strategy for regional positioning; development of the region as a brand; Involve local government, the business sector and the community in strengthening the industry; Understanding the region as a brand; and approaching international target markets. Workshops and workshops will be organized in order to define the vision of the textile industry in the region, to develop a positioning strategy and communication plan, with the participation of local authorities, businesses and the community in the region in strengthening the region and its competitiveness. Using the design service approach, the project will make appropriate planning, organization of companies and development of good communication components between supply chain stakeholders that will improve their image, emphasize product quality, and interaction between production companies and the community. Through the project activities, cross-border cooperation between the business sector, local government institutions and communities will be intensified and they will gather at a united front to discuss common issues in the textile and garment industry sector, to respond to the challenges that need to be overcome. in order to increase the competitiveness of the sector in the cross-border region. The vision for the region, the positioning strategy, as well as the activities aimed at improving the image of the industry and getting closer to European companies, as well as gaining trust between the partners can be easily transferred from other regions. The project activities, the prepared documents and the acquired good practices, as well as the raised awareness of the companies for the principles of operation will continue to include companies from this sector. The established contacts between the companies from the two countries, as part of different supply chains, will enable them to improve their knowledge and exchange of experiences and knowledge in the development of their product (brand) and to position themselves as reliable partners. The document that will be prepared will cover long-term activities and will provide guidance on how companies should act in the market in the future, in order to strengthen their position.
