The focus of the project is to systematize and update the information on the trails offered in the area of ​​Blagoevgrad and the East Planning Region. The created database will contain unique information about all tourist trails in the region with GPS mapping, which will be placed in Google Map with markers and possibilities for visualization of text, photo and video information. The database will contain information on all tourist sites, destinations, calendar of events, such as religious holidays, festivals, rituals, exhibitions, concerts, municipal events, etc. This platform will allow you to model the journey with several commands on the computer on mobile devices. Management and maintenance of the platform will be divided between the municipalities and the tourism organization and companies operating in the field of tourism in the respective municipality. A common standard will be established for the creation of tourist trails due to their easy adaptation and uploading to a common database. A series of joint initiatives, trainings, competitions and campaigns will address different target groups. With the implementation of the project - Research will be done, information on routes offered in the area of ​​Blagoevgrad and the East Planning Region will be collected, systematized and popularized, two tourist products will be created and one on-line service to support all during one-year tourism . Joint initiatives (trainings, workshops, webinar, tourist forums); two new regional tourist trails will be developed and promoted through an advertising clip, a digital walk and a brochure; prepared Guide for guides and animators in tourism; Trained at least 25 people from the target municipalities for tourism guides and animators; Provided training equipment to be used to update the database in the future and for trained people to be able to create and track new tourist trails and integrate them into a platform in the future.
