PROJECT DETAILS

The project aims to introduce and test an innovative model for sustainable tourism development in the cross-border region and to establish long-term cooperation between the participants in tourism in the cross-border region. The project also aims to increase the competitiveness of the tourist offer in the cross-border region, and because the whole project is built around the concept of Cross-border entertainment center, it creates attractive and innovative offers that can significantly increase the demand for tourism in the cross-border region. The project stimulates tourism as a realistic long-term alternative to the cross-border zone between Bulgaria and Macedonia by creating a network between tourism and tourism-related businesses on both sides of the border, as well as providing a common platform for maintaining this network. The members of the network will work together to develop new innovative proposals for tourism and thus open untapped opportunities in the region.
