The project aims to establish sustainable cooperation between the Municipality of Gevgelija and the Agency for Economic Development Bansko, based on the implementation of initiatives for cooperation in the field of tourism, related to better protection and sustainable use of rich natural and cultural heritage in the cross-border region. The activities contribute to strengthening economic cooperation, improving the knowledge and experience for development and implementation of joint projects and raising public awareness of the benefits of cross-border initiatives. The project stimulates the rapprochement of all groups of the population and builds a network for business cooperation, exchange of experiences and joint activities in the field of tourism, culture and ecology and ensures the development of year-round tourism in the cross-border region. The construction of the tourist facility "Dinkut" develops the tourist potential through sustainable use of the natural heritage in the region of the municipality of Gevgelija. The tourist facility "Dinkut" is planned as a place for sports, recreation and entertainment and includes the following attractions: summer cinema, sports and fitness area, children's playground with modern equipment, artificial climbing wall, football field, playground with natural equipment materials, climbing paths from natural materials for adults and other attractions. The completed tourist facility will offer local citizens and tourists a rich variety of facilities for sports, relaxation and entertainment, which will improve the tourism potential of the region and increase the quality of life and socio-economic status of the local population. The fulfillment of the project is related to activities such as: research and analysis of the natural and cultural heritage in the cross-border region Gevgelija - Bansko; creating a basic document for mobile application development; development of a website, mobile application for tourist information and provision of information on Facebook in the field of protection of tangible and intangible natural, historical and cultural heritage and resources in the cross-border region Gevgelija - Bansko; formation of cultural initiatives and new business opportunities. The project creates conditions for the development of a regional communication network for information exchange, based on an innovative mobile application for Android and iOS, placed on Google Play and the App Store for free download.
