PROJECT DETAILS

The main goal of the project is to increase the popularity of Belasica and to increase the competitiveness of the tourist offer of the cross-border region on the trans-border scale. A number of alternative tourism initiatives will be organized, promoted and maintained in both countries. 5 joint tourist products / events are planned: Belasica active weekend (consists of three running trails, one for mountain biking and promotional events); Bicycle tour Belasica; Belasica cycling for children; construction of 2 thematic bicycle paths. In addition, it is planned to make 3 joint flyers, 5 promotional videos and 1 short film, for which the target is planned to be more than 8000 people. Expected results of the project are: creation of sustainable products / events in the field of alternative tourism; demonstration of the potential of the Belasica cross-border area for alternative active tourism; creating a common image of the cross-border region of Belasica; increasing the competitiveness of the cross-border tourist offer; and creating more personal and professional contacts between cyclists, runners and visitors from both countries.
