The project aims to protect the environment and sustainable use of shared natural resources in the field of cross-border cooperation and contributes to the investment in green infrastructure and energy education in the cross-border region, specifically in kindergartens and preschool children. The project refers to small-scale investments in EE and RES in the kindergartens in Strumica and Kyustendil (reconstruction, procurement of equipment for "green" classrooms, construction of "green" playgrounds); implementation of a joint program for capacity building of teachers; education of children and parents for environmental protection and sustainable use of common natural resources, etc. In order to carry out the reconstruction and other investment activities in the kindergartens in Strumica and Kyustendil, contractors will be hired; It is also planned to hire external experts in order to develop and implement a program for capacity building of teachers, training for children and parents for environmental protection and sustainable use of shared natural resources, etc. Kindergartens in Strumica and Kyustendil are expected to become "green", in order to protect the environment and sustainable use of shared natural resources and energy savings; it is expected to increase the volume of knowledge of teachers in kindergartens, children and parents for environmental protection and sustainable use of shared natural resources in the cross-border region; Cross-border networks will be established for cooperation between kindergarten teachers, children and parents.
