PROJECT DETAILS

The project aims to support the establishment of an integrated approach in the cross-border area in the field of decentralized production of energy from renewable sources and the introduction of energy efficiency solutions. The realization of the project will stimulate the local businesses and will contribute to the optimization of the total energy consumption and costs. One of the main goals is to improve the awareness and increase the interest of the target group and stakeholders from the cross-border region for decentralized energy solutions and exploit the potential of renewable energy sources and their main benefits: environmentally friendly; economic (reduced costs and energy independence); efficiency (electricity quality and durability); conservation of resources (using RES); safety and security. In this regard, the project promotes the concept, the main technologies and the benefits for individual residential buildings, business and public buildings. The project will be realized through the work program which, among other things, envisages informing and raising awareness through the "Solar Roof" campaign consisting of 6 workshops for information and discussion; Development of a "Solar Investment Guide" intended for three types of users - private households, SMEs and public institutions; development of Web Portal "EnerGAIN" - educational web site with tips and educational videos to improve online resources that will provide potential users with information and relevant advice on modern solutions for energy efficient and environmentally friendly home, business or other public institution; Joint specialized RES training for technicians and engineers - capacity building, exchange of experience and knowledge in the part of the program for professionals and experts in the field of RES and EE; as well as E-learning through the training program "EnerGAIN". All this contributes to improving the capacity for environmental protection and sustainable use of shared natural resources.
