The project aims to improve the competitiveness of tourism in the region by supporting various initiatives and the development of integrated products for the development of rural and cultural tourism in the cross-border region. Other results achieved from the implementation of the diverse project work program are: - Developed various innovative and web-based tools for the promotion of cultural heritage and sustainable tourism potential in the cross-border region; - Enhanced experience and exchange of experiences between tour operators and stakeholders in the cross-border region of the two countries for sustainable use and advertising of the intangible cultural heritage, as well as the rural tourism potentials of the common cross-border region; - Created a solid basis (resources and information) for upgrading in the development of new tourism products to promote the sustainable use of the cultural heritage of the region; - Developed and promoted an innovative tool for improving the quality of the provided tourist offer in the cross-border region by improving the client / provider relations and improving the quality of the provided tourist service based on feedback from a real customer; - Developed and promoted a unique online resource for the neglected authentic settlements, traditions and customs of the cross-border region - Analyzed and promoted the tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the region, in order to increase the tourism potential and attractiveness of the cross-border region.
