The project will increase knowledge and awareness of sustainable living, the impact on the environment, and the benefits of sustainable energy. By improving the conditions in the kindergarten, the energy waste will be reduced, the health of the users will be improved and a dialogue on the topic of "Our seal on the environment" will be promoted. The trainings aim to introduce and establish a sustainable lifestyle of the users by informing and fulfilling the required soft measures. The trainings address the needs of the community for raising the general knowledge of the population about renewable and sustainable energy sources. The main results: improving the knowledge and awareness of the joint project and increased communication and cooperation between the two municipalities; improved, energy efficient kindergarten in the municipality of Sandanski, which will provide a healthy and safe place for children to grow and learn: greater effort to reconstruct the roof, reconstruction of compromised parts of the ground floor and the lower level of the building; repair of damaged layers of walls; implementation of energy efficiency measures - hermetic insulation of the outer layer of the facade, roof and floors of the building, in accordance with energy-efficient work projects; 2 renovation of the kindergarten in Novo Selo; increasing knowledge of clean land, air, water and forests, as well as in the field of energy efficiency and its practical application; energy efficiency website: information section, E-energy efficiency calculator, and company database, as well as user review section, online forum for opinions, questions; Campaigns are planned in both municipalities in the open space, to raise awareness of the impact on the environment and to promote the project.
