PROJECT DETAILS

The project will encourage capacity building for social entrepreneurship of youth and NGOs and will encourage the development of ecosystem and innovative solutions to societal challenges in the region. It combines the acquisition of real on-demand experience (SE e-training, mentoring and guidance, market, study visit to the EU) in a supportive environment (SE hubs). Two Centers for Social Entrepreneurship (1 GB and 1 BG) will be established and equipped to provide access to knowledge and skills for 80 participants, and e-learning material will be prepared in 5 training modules in BG and MK. The results of the project include trainings for stakeholder representatives, establishment of a Cross-Border Steering Committee for SE, digital competence for disadvantaged groups, training in social entrepreneurship and social innovation, development of social business idea, social leadership and marketing and business planning. It is expected that 16 business plans for social businesses will be created and presented to potential investors and stakeholders, the community and the media; 6 European good practices in SE will be promoted in the cross-border region; an SE market will be organized with 32 direct users with practical skills for presenting business ideas and market planning; a cross-border SE conference with 50 stakeholders will be held and feedback will be provided by the Steering Committee on Networking and Ecosystem; a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation and networking will be signed and a study visit to a social enterprise will be organized.
